Jill Salzman started the only kid-friendly collective of offline meetups and online resources for mom entrepreneurs. Forbes named The Founding Moms one of the Top 10 Websites for Women Entrepreneurs. In 2014, CNNMoney called Jill a “Mommy Mogul.”
As a national sought-after speaker, Jill has been featured in media outlets including the New York Times, CNN’s Headline News, People Magazine, The Chicago Tribune, Daily Candy Kids, Business Matters, WGN TV and WAHM Talk Radio. Jill was recently named one of the Top 50 Women to Watch In Tech and published her first book Found It: A Field Guide for Mom Entrepreneurs.
Jill had conceived a get-together through Meetup.com, hoping that four or five women would join her. Today she’s built a 11,500+ and counting mom entrepreneurs throughout the United States. Jill admits that Founding Moms got started by accident. She is often asked why it’s growing so fast, only to proclaim… “because we rock!”
Come hear Jill’s passion and entertaining story about real women entrepreneurs who live right in our backyards. She will show what happens to mothers who promote deeper connections listen to expert advice, and openly discuss the ultimate balancing act their roles have taken to lead amazing careers… while having fun doing it.
